Screampark is Open!

Screampark is officially open today, September 24th! The haunt is located at 903 Manchester Street in Downtown Lexington. Look for the large Screampark banner!

Tickets are only $15 for all three haunts. If you want to be first in line every time, we have VIP passes (called Screampass) for $25.

Visit the official Screampark website www.scarylexington.com for driving direction. Screampark is open Thurdays 7:00pm - 10:00pm and Friday - Sunday 7:00pm - 1:00am .

Screampark is Kentucky's largest indoor haunted event! We will be open Thursdays - Sundays, September 24th - October 31st. Screampark was voted the 2009 Newcomer of the Year by America's Best Haunts.

Our new hearse with all of the detailing and logos. We will use it for public events, and promotions. Keep watching the streets of Lexington, and you might see it roll by this season.

Calling all Actors!

Do you have what it takes to be part of the largest haunted event in Kentucky? If so, we need you! We are looking for actors, make-up artists, security (with experience), concession attendants and costume artists. Experience is preferred but not necessary... we will train you. Ranked as one of the best fright factories in the U.S., Screampark made the 2009 list of top haunts as revealed by America's Best Haunts, the nations eminent authority on thrill attractions. As professionals of the paranormal, America's Best Haunts evaluated haunted attractions from coast to coast to select 13 of the best of the best to wear its coveted seal. Utilizing a panel of thrill park industry experts, top haunts from across the U.S. were thoroughly analyzed before being honored as one of this years elite. Screampark is proud and honored to receive this recognition.

4th of July Parade

Despite the rain and gray skies, the monsters from Screampark along with our friends from Scarefest, walked the 4th of July parade in Downtown Lexington. We threw candy to the kids and gave out info on our upcoming events.

Screampark at Scarefest

Scarefest, the largest horror and paranormal convention in the Southeast, is coming to Lexington and Screampark will be there. September 11 - 13 at the Lexington Center in Downtown Lexington, Scarefest will present seminars, vendors and workshops.

Not only will Screampark have a booth and be pre-selling tickets to Lexington largest haunted event, but we will be sponsoring one of the greatest horror celebrities ever!

Kane Hodder, better known to horror fans as Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th film series, will be our special guest and on site during Scarefest to meet and greet his fans. Keep posted to the Screampark blog for more details !

Construction Continues

Still lots of work to be done!

The Work Goes on...

The trailers are being unloaded, and all the components of the three haunts are being staged inside Screampark. Very soon, construction will begin and we will assemble The Castle of fear, The Abyss and Insanity.


A big thanks to everyone that helped with all the unloading, hauling and storage of the pieces. It was hot work, but we got it done! More pictures will follow! Stay tuned!

Screampark Has a Home

Screampark has officially taken up residence in Downtown Lexington. We will be located at 903 Manchester Street. The warehouse is a huge space, that is slowly being transformed to accommodate our three haunts.
